Ok. lets talk about phones....I am VERY aware of everything that apple comes out with.... we dendo by the Apple store every day,...... ugh... I hate you so much right now I hope you know that... agh, jk you'll love it. I want to get a new iPhone when I return! Anyways..... yeah everyone has iPhones ... its insane... they text each other in church to tell each other where meetings are and the Bishop will text us from the stand if he wants us to do something..
The misionaries have cell phones and pretty much the world revolves around them here.... I kid you not you can set your bluetooth in Japan to send out a radio signal of your bank number and you can swipe your cell phone on the CANDY AND DRINK MACHINES and it works... NO MONEY!! How insane is that..... EVERY ONE USES THEIR PHONES FOR EVERYTHING!!! ITS SERIOUSLY INSANE I'll take pics... so yeah Apple...tear ;(.... anyways have fun they will be even better when I return, just promise me we will have ATT when I get back so I can get one and I'll save money, you just watch. (lol) hey so anyways,...... moving on...

The tripple Chinese baptism is the 18 of July at 6 our time. So, yeah figure that out... I'm excited... this Saturday. All is well, I wrote y'all a letter today but alas..... my bank card won't work so I can't get stamps..... ggggrrreat.... yeah I'm confused!
Next week first transfer is over and ill be 1/6 done already... weird eh?? and my comp wrote Meagan a funny letter, I don't know but its great... .lol
So iI don't know if I'll be in Kumamoto-shi next week..... I hope so unless its to Okinawa, then I'll live but it'll be even hotter.... great.... seriously, its freakin hot here. Arizona does not compare - its insane - you sweat when you walk out side you don't even have to start working. Its fun we carry rags that you wipe your face off with... its a Japanese thing.. ya :)
So I didn't go to the zoo yet, I was bummed... it started lightnining... and thundering so they closed but I'll going this week and next P-day to the Kumamoto Castle, just in case I leave next week so yeah I'm excited!!!!
Give plasma that's fun stuff!!!!! Oh, tell mom I can donate blood here (lol) I was excited!!!! Sweet eh!

A Day in the Life of a Missionary in Japan

Ahhhh you and Chudge played golf im so jealous!!!! the gold courses here.... if there are they are really, really expensive...... I want to play yes we can play when i get back.....that's way funny about you and Brother Hall ahhah
Yeah, so Japan is great! Really the rainy season is almost over and its rained like... 4 times.... the weakest year in years.. I'm told so ya, cuz here when it rains it rains! you wouldn't believe.
That's cool about y'alls' trip that sounds fun!! (ha) You all have fun with Lex! I miss her!! :( Uhhhhh anyways I've heard a lot about Transformers a lot of the Japanese people liked it and friends liked it...

... that is the picture of all the new missionaries! the new Sisters and the new Elders cuz they are from the JMTC (Japanese MTC) so yeah that's that, lol! The Iwaasa's are gone but our new Mission President came, I meet him Monday! Augh busy busy busy!
Ha, yeah study up on Japanese that way when y'all come it won't be so weird for y'all!!! Its not... that difficult..... :D but you can do it!
. . . the banks here are insane... everything is so efficient... its all electronic... and the banks and the post offices are the same thing they are all combined... everything in Japan is so different and better in so many ways than they way its done in America... except I HATE that they have no public trash cans.... oh welll...
Ahhhh the language... a struggle but its so much fun and its easier to learn when you're having fun with it. When we teach like 80 lessons a week that helps too... we have so many investigators its crazy!!!!! my first baptism will be in MANDARIN.....yeah I have to learn in Chinese..... great I don't even now it in Japanese, lol.... oh well it'll be fine I'm sure.
I'm getting it faster than most people, but my attitude has a lot to do with it too!
Everyone is so grumpy.... the missionaries... I'm not. I don't get it..... whatever I'll write about that...
I wrote a letter today with funny stories of the week and I made an origami Pokemon (lol) so that's nice!.
Our days - we go and ride our bikes like 40 miles a day in the hot weather. I pretty much have no body fat left which I'm ok with so its all gooooodd..... then we contact and "street" and we don't "house" to much 'cuz not a lot of people are home, but yeah. Its busy, a lot of lessons then we teach English classes on top of that..... busy, busy, busy all day

The people are crazy nice like they go out of their way to help you and they all listen and no one will yell at us or say mean things or not listen... so finding is way easy...
What do I eat.... ahahahha riceeeeee..... alot, alot, alot of rice..... we have like 5 - 50 lbs bags in our apartment good thing I love rice! Seriously, that is 70% of what we eat... and chicken and the occasional horse..... yeah horse..... woof right...
Yeah, so all is good here. I'm happy and busy, did I mention that (lol)..... we set ANOTHER Baptisimal date yesterday.... yeah... crazy....

Dear Brother and Sister Robinson,
We wanted to drop you a note to let you know that your son arrived safely in Fukuoka. We were excited to greet him at the airport in Fukuoka and we are happy to report that there was a smile on his face. We spent two days together at the mission home before sending him to his first area. He was in good spirits and has now begun the work he has been preparing for. We will continue to work very closely with him and do everything we can to make this experience one that sends him back to you safe, healthy, and stronger than when you sent him.
As his first area, Elder Robinson has been assigned to the city of Kumamoto His companion and trainer there will be Elder Jannson, who is one of our very best missionaries. He is a hard-worker but also very patient and loving. Elder Robinson will learn much over the coming months.
We have enclosed a picture of your son with us. We have also included a map showing the locations where our missionaries serve. It will serve as a visual guide of where your son will be.
Thank you for sending us such a wonderful missionary! We look forward to serving with your son. Thank you for your prayers and continued letters of support and encouragement to your missionary. They will do much to uplift and brighten his day and increase his success.

Kumamoto-shi: My First Area
So, my first area is Kumamoto-shi (Kumamoto City). Kumamoto (熊本市 Kumamoto-shi) is the capital city of Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyūshū, Japan. Greater Kumamoto (ja:熊本都市圏) has a population of 1,460,000, as of the 2000 Census. It is never considered part of the Fukuoka-Kitakyushu metropolitan area despite both bordering each other.
Kumamoto-shi is home of pimpin' Castle Kaumamoto Castle (Kumamotojo). I haven't gone yet but I hear it is pretty boss. I ride past it on my bike so that's cool :D!
My Trainer/Companion is Elder Jansson, pretty much he's a black kid in a white person's body (hahaha), no, but he's pretty cool (he says that is not true). He is super cool and crazy good at Japanese so snap, ya! He is very helpful and we get along amazingly. He is from Orem, Utah, pretty far away!
Japanese is good. My area is pretty much like pimpin' like NYC, but more asian. . .
The work here is so great, our goal this transfer is 10 baptisms . . . good that we have 8 investigators and we already have dates for most of them. Hahaha, it's going to be great. I'll send pics of each of them.
The humidity is so boss, I love it!! its way cool!! (I'm sure he's joking - other than he doesn't have to wear his suit coat in the summer)My apartment is schweetttt!! Its very very Japanese lol . . . Ilike it!!!!
So basically I love it sooo much here. Already the church is growing here super ridiculously fast and its exciting stuff. I'm excited!
Anyways, I love you all tonnz I wrote a letter and I'm sending it. My new P-day is Mondays (Sunday in the States) and I think we only email every other week so yeah...--
