Set apart as an Elder in Zion

On Tuesday, March 24th, the Stake Presidency and our Bishop came to our home to set Trey apart as a Missionary. It was so nice to have this special occasion take place in a personal setting. President Jackson conducted. After the opening prayer by Trey's dad, Tom Robinson II, Bishop Robert Walz spoke about how nice it was to have Trey in the Priest's Quorum and about just how much he has grown and matured over the past few years. President Max Esplin then spoke about how Trey's decision to serve his Father in Heaven as a missionary will bless Trey, his family, and his future posterity. President Jackson spoke of several Japanese converts he met on his mission in Brazil and about what a special people they and that the Lord has preserved some of his kindest children in the Japanese people.

Trey was then set apart by President Jackson. He was assisted by President Max Esplin, Bishop Robert Walz, Thomas E. Robinson II, Thomas E. Robinson Sr., Warren Sorensen, Elder Trevon Roney, and Elder Justin. President Jackson spoke of how Trey would be a tool for the mission president in strengthening weaker areas of the mission. He also blessed Trey that his tongue would be loosed as he learns the Japanese language and the language of Spirit.

It was a wonderful experience for our family and it was only made more memorable by having it performed in our home.
